Morian

Morian

"Eh? No, I'm Beirin."

Name: Morian
Gender: Female
Skin Color:Pale Cream
Hair Color: Brown
Eye Color:Dark Blue
Species:Human
Size:5'5" tall
Age:15
Personality:

Morian has spent so much time wrapped about Beirin, her twin brother, that she no longer knows where one personality begins and the other ends. She can vaguely remember a time when she was more willful, and Beirin was more curious, but they've spent so much of their life attempting to be identical that those differences smoothed out a long time ago. Secretly, she almost isn't sure she really is a person without Beirin.

Collectively, they're honest and bluntly straightforward, with their father's work ethic -- work before play, no matter how much they want to play.

They take turns being the 'dominant' twin, depending upon who wakes up feeling bolder each morning. The 'dominant' twin is more likely to make decisions for the two of them or lead the way into a new place -- in the end though, it's more akin to the current 'dominant' twin holding two votes to the other twin's one, with both getting their say before the final decision is made.

Description:

Morian has a very boyish build, not helped by the fact that she binds her small chest flat every morning to make things more difficult for other people. Her brown hair, like her brother's, is cut in an almost absurd fashion -- left long enough to fall in her eyes on the right side, and shorn to barely an inch long on the left side. What started as a protest against her mother trying to separate she and her brother has become a fashion that she refuses to give up. Her eyes are a dark blue in color, a shade darker than Beirin's eyes, and remain the only obvious difference between them if she has her chest bound flat.

History:

Morian was a clingy child, constantly sticking next to her twin no matter what he got into or how much her mother scolded her about proper female behavior. It all came to a head when her father tried to take Beirin with him to learn the dyemaker's trade, leaving her behind to 'learn to be a proper girl'.

From then on, she refused to be separated from Beirin, even going so far as to dress in his other clothes and cutting her hair to look like his. Though their father could apparently tell the difference between them easily (he would later reveal to her that her eyes were darker, and as a dyemaker and dyemaster he easily noticed such differences in shade), he was more amused than annoyed at it, and so let it continue over their mother's protests.
