The Hatching

Several eggs gently rock, cracks beginning to form, until with a bang two of them slam into each other, spilling a Light Blue and an Iridescent Blue onto the sands in a tangle of limbs. The Light Blue squirms free first, though he pauses long enough to nudge his Blue brother upright before turning towards those gathered on the sands. It doesn’t take long before Zhenigath focuses on Brian and trots across the sands to his new bond. ::Hello!:: he says as he twines around Brian’s legs. ::Do you think I could help with your work? Iridescent Blue Khugerith, meanwhile, rears up on his hind legs to scan the gathered candidates, wings flaring to help with his balance as he considers his options. ::Aha!:: he declares, dropping back to all fours and arrowing towards Tesayiler. ::You’re my person, without any doubt,:: he says as he rears back up to set his front paws on Tesayiler’s thigh and nudges his head under his new bond’s hand.

A Green spills onto the sands next, taking a moment to give herself a full-body stretch before starting to walk the line of candidates, peering up at each one before moving on.
