Quinsys

Quinsys is a strange beast, noble in his own twisted little way that has nothing to do with standard nobility. He will attack unarmed men or women, will twist his words about til you're never sure what, precisely he means, and often will not do any of the myrid tiny acts of nobility that most people think of. Instead, he holds to a code so foreign, so unusual, that many cannot understand it.

His twisted words are like that on purpose - anything he says can, and often does, mean multiple things at the same time. He weighs every action he takes based on future success or danger, seeing people (and himself!) as nothing more than pawns to be manipulated or removed as he sees fit to progress a step in "the game". No one is sure what "game" he's speaking of, because he never actually talks about it, only hints about the fact that his actions are motivated by some rules he must follow. In his own way, he tries to save those he likes from the manipulations, though his way of "saving" people is often to just keep them on the fringe. There is an underlying pattern to his choices and actions, but because no one knows the rules he's operating under, no one can figure out what, precisely, his response to each incident will be.
