Krampus is a bit of a fickle soul, much like the fire he has such innate control over. He has a habit of instantly liking or disliking people, and makes life difficult for both groups, in the name of friendship or enemy-ship. Anyone who has captured his current interest, whether like or dislike, can expect him to go out of his way to do things for or to them - a friend may find that Krampus has, quite without asking, arranged for some wish of their's to come true (usually in a manner that would make a show for Krampus); an enemy may find that Krampus has been manipulating things behind the scenes to create dramatic public shows of private affairs.

In the rare instances when Krampus is not taken with someone, he becomes sullen and lethargic, like a fire gluttering out. He devotes himself entirely to making vast images out of fire, and derives amusement from the surprise and awe of the people who see his creations. Even then, he tends to grow bored easily, and usually ends up wandering the hallways, looking for his next fascination.
