It's odd that a superstitious man like Elriel should bond a skeptic like Kedia, but perhaps the two are good for one another. Elriel tends to be careful about what he says and does; he knocks on wood, he leaves a plate of milk or honey out each night in his kitchen, and he loves cats (but not black ones!); he looks and listens for signs that might not make sense to those who aren't familiar with the myths and tales of yore. However, Elriel is a friendly soul, is always willing to take in those who need a space, or to give what he has to those who are lacking. He seems to be a weird mix of zen and nervous, as he is mindful of his state of being and tends to let things go, however he has no wish to offend the supernatural in any way. |
