Kardaren is rather divorced from the world around him, constantly living in his own little world. While this was once totally without purpose, Ivsibarth's influence has turned Kardaren into an artist and crafter of unrivalled skill. It isn't uncommon to see Kardaren with paint-flecked, charcoal covered, or clay smeared fingers and face, or with a sketchpad and charcoal in hand

He's a nice enough man, with a small smile for everyone and an interest in helping where he can, but the smallest thing can set him off to wander in thought and plans.

Kardaren typically sticks to 'his' appearance - tall, average build, gold-streaked black hair, and eyes of two different colors. However, because of what he is - a dream made flesh - he's capable of altering what he looks like so long as he believes in it enough. As he's gotten older, however, it's gotten harder for him to change from the set that he created right before he bonded Ivsibarth. It doesn't help that, no matter what he looks like, Ivsibarth's mental image of him remains the same as when he bonded.

As such, though he's spent decades in the world, he still appears to be in his mid twenties.
