Athan

"Please, stay on your best behaviour while in the Keep."

Name: Athan
Gender: Male
Title: Knight of the Jeweled Keep
Color: Blue
Markings: Yellow
Gems: Yellow (speckling a mutation)
Size: 5' at shoulder
Personality:

Athan is Arazasin's declared protector and watchdog, adding his muscle to the might of the Lord's personality whenever his Lord requires it of him. With his ability to shape shift, and his distinctly combat oriented magics, Athan is well suited to dealing with belligerent beings that refuse to leave at Arazasin's command. Don't take him as a muscle bound oaf, though, for he's anything but.

Beyond his role as protector, Athan loves the scholarly pursuits above all, and can often be found deep in a philosophical conversation with his Lord or anyone else who desires to broach the subject with him. People who do so will find that his grasp of the field is both wide and deep, and that he's open to any idea as long as it's well thought out and the person bringing it up is able to defend it.

History and Information:

No one is sure exactly where Athan is from. Whether he's from the same place as Arazasin, whether he's a creation of Arazasin and the Jeweled Keep, or whether he's just a random stranger who entered and never left, the philosophical Zalor crossbreed will never say. And he doesn't even seem to be doing it out of any sort of maliciousness, either... the thought of telling someone his history has just never honestly crossed his mind.

Whatever the case, Athan is as much a fixture in the Jeweled Keep as Arazasin is, earning him the title of Knight of the Jeweled Keep. After all, a Lord always needs a loyal Knight, right?

"Humans are strange creatures, don't you think? So weak without their things, but let them put on armor, carry a weapon, and gather into groups, and suddenly they're more terrifying than the largest dragon in existence."
