::Other:: The severity of her mutation was unintentional-- she was born in the BSW Generics Vitacritae Frenzy, where AoM gathered up genetic samples of all generic species from their home land, as many as they could find, and made hundreds of unrelated babies out of them. Mindspace's natural magic accidentally mutated some of them very slightly, usually in colour-- and she was one of the mutated. The glowing orange markings, however, were done upon her request, after hatching. The symbols have meaning. It was a genetic modification, which means the glow-markings MAY pass onto her young.

::General:: Vitona is something of an eyesore, and she knows it-- but instead of perhaps attempting to mute the brightness, she instead flaunts it. She is certainly a tad vain, and while a lot of people are put off by her striking colouration, many are attracted to it, and she likes that. She loves attention, she loves to be the center of attention, and she particularly loves it when that attention is from handsome male dragons. Needless to say, she's something of a flirt.
Strangely enough, however, she only likes harmless flirting-- the moment it gets a little serious, she's out of there as soon as she can. It's the attention she wants, not the relationship. Or rather, she does want a relationship-- she's just very particular about with whom, and she doesn't want to ruin her chances or make them upset with her. She knows her limits, and if they start to feel jealous, she usually backs off.
For the most part, people understand this, and they're good. She's a social butterfly, interacting with a lot of people and making friends wherever she goes. She likes talking to people, being around people, and just.. experiencing things. Having fun, being loose. You know, that whole thing.
Vitona is not totally frivolous, however. In fact, she's anything but. while she does enjoy her social time, she's not stupid, and she does like solitude too. Granted, her version of solitude is spending time with a select few people, or one person, she's close to, but hey. close enough. She's also incredibly knowledgeable about a number of subjects-- symbols and magic, for instance, intrigue her deeply. There is meaning to the symbols on her body, for instance, and she can explain them to whoever cares to listen.
Given everything about her, you'd expect Vitona to handle herself like a flake, most of the time, even with her intelligence. This is not usually true, however-- even when she flirts, she still maintains her dignity, subtly- she doesn't gush and fall over people, she smiles coyly and flirts with words. She has witty retorts to most everything.
Vitona is the maternal sort of dragoness, and would love both to sponsor younglings, and have some of her own.

~~Personality~~
::General:: Having been abandoned twice, and both times by his original bond, Mithrath is something of a nasty fellow. He's a very bitter, jaded being, with a sardonic and cruel sense of humor. Sarcasm is his best friend, and he loves belittling people. Perhaps surprisingly, being abandoned has only caused his ego to inflate, and he's suspicious of most beings, particularly humans. He doesn't like anyone right off the bat. All that said, he can be one of the nastiest, cruelest fellows to have around. So why did he bond Vitona, of all people, particularly when he was through and DONE with bonding, because, indeed, he'd been adamant against bonding by the time Vitona had sauntered into the abandoned caverns.
No one's entirely sure how he did it, or why. Perhaps Vitona offered him a prospect too strange to ignore. Perhaps it was curiosity, or perhaps his adamancy against denial was out of a longing to bond again but an unwillingness to take the risks. Perhaps he wanted to show Vitona a thing or two, to show her who was boss, for she certainly was being a cocky little thing when she strode into the sands and made for him.
Whatever the reason, Mithrath and Vitona are doing well. Vitona is happy, adn Mithrath is as happy as he lets himself be-- which is little, and he rarely admits what happiness he does feel. The bond is comforting to him, and Vitona is good at attending to him. He's even returned the favor. Make no mistake, he's still the nasty, bitter bastard who's occupied the abandoned caverns so long-- just slightly a slightly more fulfilled one, which might make him even harder to deal with.
