::General:: Aquila was named for air-- his name is derived for the Latin word for "wind"-- and it suits him well. Restless and impulsive, he finds it hard to stay in one place too long, rarely staying more than a few months in any given area (though he does re-visit his favorite areas periodically.) He also is particularly unfond of sitting still, getting snappish when forced to. The only exception to this rule is when there's someone else, usually a larger dragon, nearby that he can snuggle up to.
He's a rather effeminate beast-- in fact, many people assume he's female upon first meeting him, though whether this is due to his nature, his colouration or his a-ending name cannot be said for sure. In any case, he doesn't seem to mind, not correcting the mistake until months later, in some cases, or letting other people do it for him.
He likes attention, and he likes to be admired. Sometimes too much; he does have a vanity issue, and can get nasty if people don't give him the attention he deserves, or if he thinks the other person is unworthy. He also has a flair for drama, both in the sense that he can act very well, and that he causes trouble and chaos on occasion by reacting to things with excessive drama, or doing things to cause drama. However, if he's in a good mood and you come across right, he can be an incredible sweetheart, always there to offer a shoulder for you to cry on or some good advice (and he does give good advice-- he simply chooses to ignore his own advice and sometimes the advice of others.) To his friends, he's incredibly loyal, and almost always willing to do favors, particularly when it has to do with transportation. He likes making friends with beings smaller than himself.
Otherwise and in most things, Aquila is a very private being and does not like giving information up about himself-- few of his friends know much about him at all. The only people he'd share everything with would be bonds-- they're the only people he'd feel that he could trust, and even then it would have to be a fairly strong mental connection.
