Character

~~Gen~~
::Name:: Rahne
::Gender:: Female
::Rank:: Resident of Mindspace
::Species:: Human..ish, Wolf shifter
::Age:: 21
::Job:: Ad current, wanderer.
::Location:: Mindspace.
~~Appearance~~
::Height:: 5'5"
::Eyes:: Green
::Fur/Scales/Feathers/Skin:: Auburn brown fur, or pale skin, depending on her mood.
::Hair:: Puffy, but worn short. Coarse. Light reddish.
::Other:: Never exactly completely human; tends to keep the body, with perhaps wolf ears and a tail, and usually a covering of the brownish fur of her wolf form, if she so chooses. Compact build.
~~Skills~~
::Magic::
::Physical:: Shapeshifter-- wolf.
::Mental::
~~Personality~~
::Mental Disorders::
::General:: The main problem with Rahne is that she's easily bored. Restless and with an urge to travel, she hates to be tied down, to stay in one place. Exploring is her thing- particularly otherworlds, which is why she wants a dragon. She's wanted one since she heard of them. As it is, she loves spending time in the various places around Nexus, having spent a long time on the planet Icarus, where she got her three little pets. Unfortunately, she must enlist the aid of worldwalkers in order to travel to these otherworlds, or people with dragons-- and she hates asking for favors, ever. She's independent and likes to do everything herself. Plus, the worldwalkers, being the only people capable of walking worlds (go figure) are always busy, particularly with the shaman's work. Nothing for lone wanderers like her.
It's for this reason she's trying to get a dragon-- that, and wandering is a lonely activity. Some sentient, deeply bonded company would do her some good, she thinks.
Other than that, she's fairly accepting, and even surprisingly naive about certain things. She's got a "proper" streak a mile wide, but it's malleable, particularly in moral situations. Note that "proper" and "moral" are two different things, which is the point-- her own morals are above anything society considers proper.
~~History~~
::Former Location::
::If Relevant:: Not particularly relevant. Born in a rural part of the  england-mirror of mindspace, was an orphan, and therefore grew up in a catholic orphanage-- hence her naivety. At the age of 15, she got sick of everyone mocking her for her abilities-- it was made up of mostly humans, so no one else could turn into wolves, much less wander around with a tail sticking out of their jeans-- and busted out of there, buying herself the motorcycle that she currently travels everywhere with and going on a few explorations. Not long after, she discovered nexus, and has since spent her time attempting to bum people into giving her rides to other worlds.

::Rank:: //
::Colour:: Dull Rainbow
~~Appearance~~
::Size:: Medium
::Eyes:: Purple
::Fur/Scales/Feathers/Skin:: Grayish mottled/marbled skin across her body, toned very slightly various rainbow tones. Pale rainbow is much clearer on her underbelly, and broken with red stone things. She has pale white membranes.
::Build:: Light, Elegant
::Other::
~~Skills~~
::Magic:: Color manipulation
::Physical:: Vocal Speech
::Mental:: Telepathy, Teleportation
~~Personality~~
::General:: Cheerful and goodnatured, if there's one thing Noal likes to do, it's explore. She takes after Rahne in this respect-- the two of them can rarely sit still very long, and have a deep and ingrained urge to get out and explore and wander aimlessly for long amounts of time. Both she and Rahne are active people, and hate to be confined indoors or in spaces too small for them for very long-- they'd rather be out having fun and all that good stuff! For the most part, Noal is cheerful and optimistic, and the only time this breaks is if something she loves is in danger-- she can be quite nasty, she merely chooses not to. She does enjoy a good cuddle, but not for very long, because she'll want to move after some time. She's also incredibly curious-- something that is wont to get her burned a couple times at best.

::Hatching Message:: ((Written by Unyko))  Rhane was waiting as patiently as she knew how, but soon enough, another egg split, spilling it's dull rainbow female hatchling onto the warm sands. Almost at once, she was on her feet and tumbling head-over-heels towards the waiting wolf anthro. ~Sorry I took so long, shall we go then?~ She wiggled with excitement at the thought of the journies that lay ahead.

1: Thrill of the hunt
Ah, the unbelievably refreshing thrill of the hunt.
Rahne watched her prey, sitting calmly on the table, completely at peace. Totally unaware of the green, wolfish eyes watching it, of the hungry presence lurking so dangerously near.
Silently, she crept closer, closer... And still it didn't move, blissfully oblivious to her presence.
Closer.. closer... close enough! With a shriek of victory, she pounced upon table, grabbing up the object of her hungry gaze in sharp-clawed hands.
The sugar-frosted marshmallow peep hadn't even known what hit it before it's puffy head was bitten off, happily devoured by the wolf-girl still perched upon the table.
..Yeah. Rahne was bored. Unbelievably, brain-numbingly bored. But for the moment, she had peeps.
When the first one had been brutally mutilated by her teeth and swallowed, she grabbed up a second oblivious marshmallow from the box and started on that one, crossing her legs on the table and staring out the window. She didn't direct her gaze to the door until a noise from that direction captured her fleeting attention: someone cleared their throat. Startled, she glanced to the doorway, and groaned. "How much did you see?"
Dani, her current host, was leaning against the doorframe, clad in a bath robe and looking like she was loosing a battle in resisting laughter. She ignored the question, raising black eyebrows at the shifter on her kitchen table. "Hunting marshmallows again? Aren't I lucky to have you around, they really were getting quite pesky!" At this she laughed and made her way over to the counter, putting a kettle of water on the stove. "You'll get a stomach ache," she added, ignoring the fact that Rahne was still on her table and directing an embarrassed glower to her back. "eating sugar for breakfast. Want some tea?"
Rahne popped another peep into her mouth, shaking her head. "No, thank you." she said, glancing out the window. "I don't think I'll be staying long enough."
Dani frowned, turning to face the wolf-shifter. "But Rahne, you just got here two days ago! You haven't had a chance to see uncle yet, he's coming back tomarrow.."
Rahne sighed, waving a paw-like hand. "I know, I know. Tell him I'm sorry for missing him. I'm just.." she paused, searching for the right word. "Getting restless again. I want to travel."
"You always want to travel." dani said with a sigh, moving damp black hair from her shoulder. "You're as bad as my uncle. Where are you going?"
Rahne shrugged, staring out the window. "I dunno. Morphine said there was a place with a clutch on the sands, of some dragon-like things. SaaShiyovisa, I think. She said she'd take me to that world if I met her somewhere in a few days, on Shakolith."
"Oh, lucky! Trying to impress a dragon, I wish I could get the chance." Dani laughed, moving the kettle off the burner as it began to whistle, and rummaging around in some cupboards for a mug and a teabag. "When you get back, come visit, okay? Especially if you impress. Maybe then I can convince you to stay for awhile."
Rahne grinned at her friend's back, taking off the beak of a peep and flicking it at her. "You should come traveling with me. We can go to pern sometime, I know you miss it there~" She finished off the rest of the last peep quickly, sliding off the table. "And now I ought to go, it will take me all of the next three days to get to where morphine wants meet me."
"You should ride something other than that insane motorcycle." Dani admonished, turning around to bearhug her friend. Rahne gave a few noises of protest, struggling to get loose, before Dani released her, laughing. "Off with you, then. But I'll skin your pretty hide if you don't come back here sometime and visit!"
"Of course~" Rahne called, moving towards the door. "I'll see you sometime later."
A few minutes later, she was out and in the refreshing air. There was a breeze that ruffled through the fine layer of fur she allowed to coat her body, and she paused in this for a moment before moving off towards her motorcycle, parked by the curb of the pleasant suburban house her friend was currently living in. She did like staying with Dani, but there was something out there that was calling her, some reason she had internally for traveling all the time. and she'd travel until she found out what it was. With a final enthusiastic glance at the house, she hopped onto her motorcycle and started the engine. She'd stay with Dani again sometime later, but for now, it was time to wander around.
