::Hair:: Shoulder length, tightly wavey, and almost always messy. It's a very dark grey, streaked with silver.
::Other:: Retains most of the traits of a saluki, but has a feline quality and a heaviness to him that's most certainly from the lynx. Muscular, with a broader frame than a saluki anthro would have. his fur, however, is similar to the saluki's, if a tad coarser. Long saluki muzzle, the ears, and a strange elegance to him, even if he's not as delicate as a saluki.

~~Skills~~
::Magic:: Advanced Healing Magic, Conventional Magic, Convenience Magic, Practical Magic, Wards and Protective Magic
::Physical::
::Mental:: Moderately strong empathy

~~Personality~~
::Mental Disorders::
::General:: While strong and skilled magic in Akhet is usually limited only to the priests and priestesses of the desert dwelling god-spirits, Lattice is a foreigner, and thus this fact of Akhet life does not apply to him. He's a very complicated being, but there is one thing true of him that is true of all Akhet healers-- he's very VERY passionate about his job. He has a purpose, and that purpose is to help people, damnit. He hates things that cause useless bloodshed and pointless pain, and if there is a way to make someone's life better with his skills, he will do it. Being a magic user only increases his abilities, and thus he lives in the Jousting compound, where there are quite a few injuries, even though there is no war going on and thus no actual jousting. Other than that, he enjoys the company of his friends-- which number few, because few people know how to interpret him-- and his leisure time. He devotes much of his energy to magic, which eats up one's recourses pretty fast, and thus when he's not actually working, he's usually lounging in the shade and rebuilding his energy reserves. He's a sardonic being, and while he does dispense good advice, you have to be prepared for a good amount of uncannily accurate sarcastic remarks. He's very deadpan, and thus many people don't get his sense of humor, but he usually means no harm by anything. He's gentle, which is only surprising if you misinterpreted his normal sarcastic manner-- it's a subtle gentleness, but it's there. He enjoys reading in his spare time, since his belief is that one can never learn enough. The only time he gets REALLY nasty is if someone challenges the wellbeing of one of his friends, or his "charges" at the jousting compound, and even then he'll use, if he can, an underhanded sort of nastiness to make the other people uneasy and avoid him. For example, if a male homophobe is harassing a friend of his, he will flirt shamelessly with them, until they bugger off. He actually does like women rather than men, romantically, but it's not as obvious as it could be. He's not particularly effeminate, except in the odd few mannerisms, and looks like he probably could hold his own in a fight. He's fond of animals, but not of loud people or small children, and is, in all, a good friend for those who can handle a sardonic sense of humor and an actually intelligent conversation.

~~History~~
::Former Location::
::If Relevant:: Born and raised far from akhet, from a young age Lattice had been very interested in healing. He learned his trade, which involved learning to use the magic contained within every living being, and became quite good at it. Once he was done with his training, he got quite restless, and sought to end that restlessness by traveling. He traveled for 3 years, until he finally came to Akhet, which struck him so strongly as 'HOME' that he stayed, for a long while in the Universal Temple, which was a house of worship to all the god-spirits in akhet as well as the base of the healers, until one of the jousters he'd become close with requested his services for the Jousting compound exclusively, which he was more than happy to give. Both of his firelizards were birthday gifts from two different people-- riders from BSW who'd managed to botch a teleportation and end up in Akhet, spent a few days in the desert helpless before some of the nomads rescued them and brought them to the Akhet Jousting Compound. He became quite close to them, after helping them and their severely dehydrated beasts out, and they repaid his services by getting an egg each from the FGPC weyrhall incubators, and giving him the two firelizards who have become two great assistants in his magicworking and healing.

Ambrosia
Amethyst F Pernese Firelizard
By far the sweetest of the two birthday-firelizards, Ambrosia is the best trained. She's excellent at taking messages, fetching supplies, and such things. She downright enjoys doing these things-- they get her rewarded in affection and food. She absolutely adores attention, particularly if "attention" involves being held, snuggled, petted or cuddled. She'll take such offerings from anyone, but Lattice is by far her favorite, and she savors attention from him especially. She enjoys occupying Lattice's lap while he's resting.

Deava
Dawn F Pernese Firelizard
Deava is very different from ambrosia-- she's much more withdrawn and quiet. She's an aloof creature, like cats but worse, and almost seems to resent having to deal with anyone and everyone who crosses her path-- with the exception of Lattice. She adores Lattice, and only him, and only shows and takes affection from him. She enjoys adorning his shoulders at every opportunity she possibly can, excepting the times when he's dealing with more than one person. She's not quite so good at fetching things, but her memory and thoughts are exceptionally sharp and clear, and she's very good at transmitting directions, information, and things she sees directly into Lattice's mind. This is particularly good if he needs to go somewhere durring an emergency, or if he wishes to spy on anyone.

Story is not located on this page, but on Set-re's page. His part is in green, and the part he shares with Set-re and Makhet is in light turquoise. It could stand alone with a paragraph or two of introduction, but it makes more sense chronologically to simply place it within that main story.
